Jim Murray gave this whisky his best of the year award in his 2008 bible.

Ardbeg Rennaisance Islay ............................................................... 44,- / 88,-
This one hits the palate like a peaty snowstorm. Fresh summer blackberries and redcurrants
bring a rich fruity display. Cinnamon spiced toffee and smoked chocolate limes fuse
on the tongue. Long finish.

Glengoyne 10 Highlands ................................................................. 37,- / 74,-
Sweet and malty with toffee and popcorn aromas. Slightly nutty, with fresh green apples
coming through. Great introduction to the Glengoyne range.

Glengoyne 17 Highlands ................................................................. 47 / 94,-
Some sherry, Christmas pudding. Plenty of fruit - raisins, ripe apples and tinned oranges
in syrup. Long and rich, with spicy oak.Multi award winning dram. One of the greats.
